The COINS Foundation seeks to work in genuine partnership to address the needs of the most excluded communities in the world. It believes in supporting projects that are sustainable; which do the greatest good for the greatest number; which model practices that can be replicated and which demonstrate the civilising nature of inclusion.
The COINS Foundation receives sponsorship for all of its costs. This means that 100% of the money raised goes to its project partners. In its first round of grants in September 2008, COINS Foundation supported projects to build decent homes for nearly 500 orphans across Zambia, Uganda and Mozambique; we provided funds to build a secondary school in Uganda and a new Orthopaedic Surgical centre in Lusaka.
The Foundation aims to support projects which address local issues in a sustainable way and works with its project partners and sponsors to create projects that change the root causes of poverty and discrimination to develop long-term solutions which will help to bring about permanent change

Who we are
UK Home Builders is a collaboration of people working in or connected to the UK Residential Property Development Industry. Our aim is to raise funds for the COINS Foundation, primarily through sponsorship of our Participation in:
Funds raised for the Foundation go to development projects in Africa with a strong emphasis on Home Building, and also to training programs for young people in the UK,
so there is a powerful connection for people working in Home Building. If you wish to make a community contribution, then why not by supporting projects that you will have an understanding of and a natural empathy with?
